These are the terms and conditions for Promobility.ie for all goods ordered through this website. They are intended to be fair to you as the customer. As a consumer these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
By purchasing from us you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as by our returns policy. These are the sole terms and conditions upon which Promobility .ie operates, no alteration of these terms and conditions shall be considered valid.
When confirmation of your order is received, it is an indication that your order has been obtained for processing – it does not indicate that a contract exists between the two parties. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between the seller and purchaser when an invoice is sent. This term is to protect in case of an error in pricing or in the unlikely event we are no longer able to supply a particular product for valid reasons.
In the case of a change in price, we will always contact the customer first to notify them of the issue and to ensure that the amended price is acceptable before proceeding with the order. On the rare occasion an ordered item is not in stock, we will email or call you before deciding how to proceed. In this situation we will offer both a refund or alternative product.
Promobility .ie aims to deliver your order as soon as payment is received. Your order will not be accepted until payment is received in full, in the case of cheques until your funds have been cleared.
Prices of items have VAT (sales tax) included where applicable. Items such as wheelchairs are not subject to VAT, for further information or queries relating to taxes on specific products please contact us.
Any credit card details you enter on our website are transmitted over a highly secure (SSL) link using high level encryption. This is our standard safety feature to ensure your security when purchasing on this site. Promobility .ie does not have access to full card details for security purposes so your card can never be compromised by using our service. Our payment processor will keep these payment details secure for the purpose of processing your card payments, the payment processor does keep access to your card for making payments where required. By placing an order on our website, you are expressly giving permission to the payment processor to make charges to your card.
Unless otherwise stated or additional warranty is purchased, all warranty is based on a back to base warranty and the customer is required to pay the shipping both ways. Where an item has been broken not due to a manufacturing flaw but due to incorrect use or application, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
Images, illustrations, and all other information contained on this website shall not be deemed to form part of the contract, they are for general information and guidance only. Customers must read and base their purchase upon the description of the product. Any changes to your order, which you later intend to rely should be made in writing and will be facilitated where possible.

Promobility .ie makes every effort to ensure products arrive in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event of a product arriving damaged, customers should contact Customer Services.
Under distance selling regulations for the sale of goods online, you have the right to return your item within 10 days of purchase for a full refund. The item being returned must be in its original packaging completely undamaged with no signs of use.
The cost of returning the item is solely on you and you must arrange to send it back, be aware that you are completely responsible for the product until the point it is returned to our warehouse. If the item gets damaged in transit then depending on the circumstances the item may be rejected for a refund.
Before returning an item, you must contact us so we can provide a reference for you to attach to the goods, this ensures that we can expect to receive this return and it will not become lost. Please ensure that you always get in touch prior to returning an item, you can do so on our Customer Services contact, which you will find below.
For hygiene purposes we cannot accept returns on toileting, incontinence, swimwear and showering or bedding products.
We recommend you use a recorded delivery method so that in the event of an item going missing you can track it with your service provider.
If you have not received your order within 28 working days from the despatch date, customers should contact Customers Services. If we are unable to locate the missing product a replacement will be sent.
Promobility .ie want you to be 100% confidence while purchasing online and if the product you purchase does not fit your needs or requirements, you may notify us within 10 days of receiving your order and return the item for a full refund on the price of the product.

In order to return items, the product must still have its packaging and be in an un-used condition. We do not operate a try before you buy service, by that we mean we cannot ship out a large selection of products for customers to try before they decide which item you would like to keep. Therefore, our return’s policy is subject to the customer arranging for the return at their cost.
Our Returns Policy is in line with and does not affect your statutory rights.
All refunds are processed within 5 working days of the item being officially marked as returned with our warehouse. Once we are notified by our warehouse that the goods have been received and in the condition we sent it in then they will authorize us to initialize the refund process.
As the only payment method we currently take is Credit or Debit Card then this is the only method that we will refund the order. Once we have refunded to your card, please allow several working days for it to appear back in your account.
In some rare cases, the product you use may become defective. If an issue arises with the product, you need to STOP using it right away and contact us immediately. We do not endorse the use of a defective or broken product’s as this may cause risk or injury to the user and third parties.
